Ang + Rusty Equine Sunrise Session
A few weeks ago I posted a mini-ad on Facebook looking for subjects for a sunrise equine session. The weather in Pennsylvania has been strange, one day there is fog in the morning and then another day we will have frost. As a photographer, I am constantly looking for new inspiration and settings. I was determined to get photos with the fog or frost, but, the best laid plans… The morning of Ang and Rusty's session, I was pretty bummed, because there was neither fog nor frost.
Although I had my heart set on capturing the frost and fog, I quickly focused on the beautiful location of Neversink Stables. The stable is nestled on the backside of Neversink Mountain and overlooks the city of Reading. This breathtakingly gorgeous location offered miles of trails and fields which were trimmed in fall colors, and gave me new inspiration for the session. As you can tell in the photographs, the ambers, golds, and glow of the sunrise were the PERFECT backdrop for Ang and Rusty’s session.
Little did I know that Mother Nature would give me such a beautiful alternative and that I would capture some of the my best photography.
